I had a dream today about something from my childhood, and it made me all nostalgic, so I thought I’d do something from my chlldhood memories.  I don’t know how many times I risked the wrath of my mother to read a book under my blanket with a flashlight.  I think many people probably had this same memory from their childhood.  Although, of course this was to the detriment of my poor eyes… why are mothers always right?

I have been shooting a lot of bright, happy images.  It was a gloomy stormy day today, so I thought I would try some moody, dark concept shooting.  I wanted to portray the concept that no matter how much we try to plan and hold on to what we want, nature has its own ideas.
