I have been shooting a lot of bright, happy images.  It was a gloomy stormy day today, so I thought I would try some moody, dark concept shooting.  I wanted to portray the concept that no matter how much we try to plan and hold on to what we want, nature has its own ideas.

I am still kicking myself. While I was driving, I saw the most beautiful sunset I have seen in a while.  The sun rays were bursting through the clouds, and colors were painted across the sky… Sadly, I did not pull over immediately, and by the time I stopped the car and snapped this shot, the light was just not the same.
